DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT HAVE TRANSPORTATION NEEDS THAT ARE NOT BEING MET?

The Trinity County Transportation Commission (TCTC) is in the process of reviewing annual Unmet Transit Needs for 2017. This process is completed each year to review any transportation needs that are not being met.  Now is the time to tell us if you have transportation needs that are not being met

Here are some transportation questions for you:

  • Do you live in an area that has transportation needs that are not being met?
  • Do you have social or medical needs that are not being met because you do not have transportation to get to the places you need to go?
  • If you have public transportation in your area does it operate frequently enough? Does it go to the places you need to go?

You may attend the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) public meeting on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 3:00PM in the Trinity PUD conference room, located at 26 Ponderosa Lane, Weaverville.

Attend the Public Hearing:  The public hearing will be held on April 18, 2017 in the Trinity County Library meeting room with the Trinity County Transportation Commission in Weaverville at 10:00AM.

The purpose of this process is to hear comments on any unmet transit needs that may exist within the jurisdiction of the Transportation Commission and that might be reasonable to meet.
