DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT HAVE TRANSPORTATION NEEDS THAT ARE NOT BEING MET?

The Trinity County Transportation Commission (TCTC) will soon be reviewing annual Unmet Transit Needs for 2019. This process is completed each year to review any transportation needs that are not being met.  Now is the time to tell us if you have transportation needs that are not being met

Here are some transportation questions for you:

  • Do you live in an area that has transportation needs that are not being met?
  • Do you have social or medical needs that are not being met because you do not have transportation to get to the places you need to go?
  • If you have public transportation in your area does it operate frequently enough? Does it go to the places you need to go?

Write a letter addressed to Richard Tippett, Executive Secretary, P.O. Box 2490, Weaverville, CA 96093.

You may attend the Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) public meeting on March 7, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the Trinity Public Utilities District conference room, located at 26 Ponderosa Lane, Weaverville.

Attend the Public Hearing:  A public hearing will be held in Weaverville at the Trinity County Library meeting room with the Trinity County Transportation Commission on April 2, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.

The purpose of this process is to hear comments on any unmet transit needs that may exist within the jurisdiction of the Transportation Commission and that might be reasonable to meet.
