March 20, 2020
As you are aware, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is raising health concerns around the world, including in Trinity County. The state of California is under an emergency “shelter at home” order, which we encourage all of our residents to take seriously.
Trinity Transit believes it is important for our local riders to have access to essential services, such as doctor appointments and grocery stores, so we are going to continue operating with a reduced schedule. Service animals continue to be permitted on the bus.
On Monday, March 23, Trinity Transit will begin operating ONLY on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, and FRIDAYS. We will operate our regular routes at their normal times. Please plan your appointments around this schedule. On WEDNESDAYS we will operate the Lewiston Mid-day route. NO SERVICE ON TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS.
In an effort to ensure our riders have the most current information please check our website ( regularly or follow us on Facebook (Trinity Transit page) or Twitter (@TrinityDOT).
Trinity Transit encourages all riders to comply with the Governors order to ‘shelter at home’ and only utilize public transit for essential services.
